Product Manager (Data Center)

IDR, Inc. is seeking a Global Product Manager to join one of their top clients remotely, focusing on managing and developing products within the Data Center operations industry. The role emphasizes technical product expertise and market strategy, requiring collaboration across teams to enhance customer experience and product development.

Responsibilities:

• Own the product line profitability, including gross margin and pricing throughout the product lifecycle
• Lead and develop comprehensive business plans for designated product categories within the Data Center vertical across all regions
• Conduct market analysis, assess competitive positioning, and make informed pricing decisions
• Determine the scope and development priorities for new products, lead their commercialization, and ensure strategic alignment within the product portfolio
• Collaborate across teams to incorporate voice of customer feedback into product development and customer experience enhancements

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree is required for this position, preferably in engineering or a related technical discipline; experience with technical products and manufacturing is an acceptable alternative
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with applicable products/markets; experience in a commercial or client-facing role such as sales, applications, marketing, or engineering is preferred
• Proven experience within Data Center Operations and familiarity with associated products
• Experience working with aftermarket operations and commercial control teams
• Demonstrated ability to lead product commercialization, pricing strategies, and market analysis
