Technical Project Manager (R&D Programs)

Qualdoc is seeking a Technical Project Manager to manage research and development projects from planning through execution. This role focuses on project execution, cross-team coordination, and milestone tracking, ideal for candidates looking to grow into higher-level program leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Track deliverables and action items across mechanical, electrical, software, and validation teams
• Support design reviews, prototype builds, and testing efforts
• Facilitate day-to-day coordination, risk tracking, and reporting
• Provide regular project updates to internal stakeholders
• Ensure accurate documentation of requirements, risks, and lessons learned
• Focus on execution and coordination to keep projects moving forward

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of project management experience in a technical or R&D environment
• Familiarity with engineering tools (SolidWorks, CAD, Jira, Confluence, MS Project)
• Understanding of product development lifecycles (concept, prototype, test)
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
• Contract-to-Hire is preferred, though permanent placement may be considered for the right candidate
• Remote role – must be an excellent communicator and able to collaborate across distributed teams
