Contemporary Amperex Technology (USA), Inc. is a U.S. subsidiary of a global leader in electric vehicle and energy storage battery technology. The ESS PM Engineer will connect with customers, manage project teams, and oversee the successful delivery of energy storage projects.
Responsibilities:
- Connect with overseas energy storage customers and related companies in US, build good relationship and identify needs and explore high-value potential project opportunities
- Assist account PM for coordinating and preparing critical meetings, and coordinating the highlight issues at customer side
- Enhance the coordination and service for multiple contact windows of customers, and strengthen management of the face-to-face communication with customers;
- Coordinate internal resource, sales team, development team, together with account PMs, to figure out the qualification and customer engagement;
- Coordinate onsite colleagues from other departments, like SC, AMD, to guarantee reasonable progress of commissioning and after-sales tasks of ESS projects, and resolve the problems across multiple departments
- Establish program team, and initiate the program, lead the team to deliver, and be responsible for the program management of schedule, quality, cost, and risk;
- Manage the onsite PM team, with proper training to improve the capability of the team members

- Regular, predictable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role
- Ability to move throughout offices, manufacturing facilities, and construction areas, including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25–50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting as required, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in varied environments, including offices, industrial, and construction settings
- Willingness to travel to other job sites as business needs require
- Employment is contingent upon the employee's ability to comply with applicable laws and company policies related to data protection and controlled information access
- 8 year above experience for PM, and 5 years above experience for team management
- Be familiar with ESS project business mode and development, priority consideration will be given to 2 years above experience on electric power/utility, ESS, Li-ion battery
- Good at communication, with good logic, capable on data analysis and report writing
- Oversea working experience is prior consideration, long-term stay in US is must
