Software Engineer (Applications)

DataAnnotation is seeking a Software Engineer (Applications) to join their team to train AI models. The role involves measuring the progress of AI chatbots, evaluating their logic, and solving problems to improve model quality.

Responsibilities:

• Give AI chatbots coding challenges and evaluate their outputs
• Evaluate the quality produced by AI models for correctness and performance

Requirements:

• Proficient in either Python and/or JavaScript
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript, Python, C#, C++, HTML, SQL, or Swift)
• Ability to explain how your solution solves coding problems
• Fluency in English (native or bilingual level)
• Detail-oriented
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, and debugging workflows
• Fluency in English
• Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
• A current, in progress, or completed Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
