Staff Full-Stack Software Engineer, ML Platform

Stack AV is developing revolutionary AI and advanced autonomous systems designed to enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency in the trucking transportation industry. They are seeking a Staff Full-Stack Software Engineer to provide trusted data solutions for autonomy development, collaborating with AV engineers and driving the technical vision for data introspection and visualization software.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with XFN stakeholders across Product, Engineering and TPM to define a vision for a state-of-the art AV data introspection and visualization software, along with a pragmatic implementation roadmap that accelerates AV product development while maintaining exceptional focus on safety
• Deliver the above roadmap while setting a high bar for engineering excellence within the team
• Discover key issues in existing tools across each customer persona and proactively address those gaps
• Drive technical discussions across multiple orgs to deliver solutions on a timely basis
• Evangelize technical solutions across the company to maximize business impact

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience of driving full-stack development with large-scale multimodal data (video, point clouds, geometry, audio, text, etc)
• Experience building full-stack ML solutions for a large number of customer teams and collaborating effectively across multi-functional teams
• Proven track record of building scalable, reliable full-stack solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Deep understanding of design trade-offs with the ability to articulate those trade-offs and achieve alignment with others
• Autonomous vehicles (AV) experience is a bonus
