They are seeking a Senior SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer to lead a critical migration from a legacy IIQ infrastructure to a modernized SailPoint 8.x+ environment, focusing on end-to-end IGA migrations and addressing technical challenges during cutovers.
Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Transition: Migrate SailPoint objects—Applications, Rules, Workflows, Tasks—from legacy versions to the latest IIQ 8.x+ framework
- Code Refactoring: Review and refactor legacy BeanShell scripts and custom Java libraries for modern API compatibility and improved performance
- Data Integrity & Reconciliation: Design and run data migration scripts to transition Identity Cubes and historical Audit/Archive data while maintaining accuracy and referential integrity
- Environment Validation: Lead Sandbox, UAT, and Production cutover activities, including smoke testing and troubleshooting post-migration sync issues
- Connector Modernization: Update legacy connectors to modern REST/SCIM-based integrations where applicable
- Documentation: Produce comprehensive “As-Built” documentation and create a handover runbook for ongoing operations
Requirements:
- 7–8 years of hands‑on SailPoint IIQ experience with at least two full‑lifecycle IIQ migrations
- Deep knowledge of schema and object model changes between 7.x and 8.x
- Strong expertise in XML parsing and automated deployment of IIQ artifacts (SSD or SSB)
- Advanced troubleshooting capabilities within the Database/Hibernate layer, especially during high-volume migrations
- Ability to operate within tight migration windows and communicate risks or blockers clearly
