Cloud Operations Engineer

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments. The role involves ensuring continuous improvement, rapid problem resolution, and mentoring employees while working on complex problems and providing innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Manages, administers, supports and enhances cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution
• Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, contributes to the development of new principles and concepts
• Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions
• Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, mentors or supervises employees in both company and technical competencies

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience working within on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure
• Experience with Terraform is an infrastructure-as-code software tool
• Experience with Jenkins automation software
• Ability to apply patch updates to cloud infrastructure, automated solution via AWS Patch Manager
• Ability to automate and execute deployment solutions via Tenable
• Ability to support Nessus Agent deployment and configuration
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technology issues and challenges
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• DoD IAT Level II Certification
• Experience with Arcturus deployment software
• Ability to evaluate infrastructure configuration to identify potential cost optimization
