The Supplier Engineering Intern will support Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality by analyzing production factors and engaging with suppliers to enhance performance and address non-conformances.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity and risk
- Support technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis
- Manage supplier requests for product and process changes
- Manage product non-conformances; Drive root cause and corrective action
- Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities
- Communicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholders
- Obtain and maintain additional program access as required
Requirements:
- Candidate must be enrolled and pursuing a BA, BS, or masters degree in the area of Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering by Summer 2026
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the systems and information under this program/contract
- 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, Word)
- Ability to learn new processes quickly and effectively multi-task using strong analytical skills – comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative data
