Senior ML Engineer

Hampton North is partnering with a fast-growing consumer platform to hire an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to build and ship production ML systems that enhance user experience. The role involves collaborating with product and engineering teams to design, deploy, and improve ML-driven features for a large user base.

Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy machine learning models powering personalization and recommendations
• Contribute to scalable ML infrastructure for training, evaluation, and production deployment
• Partner cross-functionally to shape product roadmap and experimentation strategy
• Improve model performance through data analysis, feature engineering, and iteration
• Stay current with advances in applied AI and recommendation systems

Requirements:

• ~5+ years building and shipping production ML systems
• Experience in one or more: recommendation/ranking systems, NLP, computer vision, or multimodal ML
• Strong Python and modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers, etc.)
• Experience with model deployment, monitoring, and experimentation workflows
• Familiarity with large-scale data pipelines and distributed systems (e.g., Kubernetes, Kafka, Spark)
• Solid software engineering fundamentals and ability to communicate across technical and non-technical teams
