Mechanical Engineer Intern

Ferrovias is offering a paid internship opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in engineering. Interns will assist with research, testing, and evaluations while collaborating with professionals in the field to contribute to meaningful projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with various research, testing, and evaluations
• Processing documentation and conducting data analysis
• Conducting manufacturing audits
• Attending department, team and project meetings as necessary
• Assisting with process improvement projects tied to manufacturing
• Collaborating with other engineers, teams and departments

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, Bioengineering, Petroleum Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related field
• Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Strong interest in manufacturing, process improvement, or product design
• Skills or coursework in areas such as CAD/3D modeling, machining, data analysis, Lean/continuous improvement, or automation
• Anticipated Graduation of May 2027
