Salesforce NPSP Developer

TECHOHANA is a mission-driven organization operating in the philanthropy and nonprofit space, seeking an experienced Salesforce NPSP Developer to support ongoing platform enhancements and strategic initiatives. The individual will play a key role in building and optimizing solutions within Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) while supporting the broader Salesforce ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and enhance Salesforce solutions with a strong emphasis on NPSP architecture and functionality
• Build scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and declarative tools
• Design and optimize donor management, fundraising, household, and relationship models within NPSP
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate nonprofit business processes into technical solutions
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems (finance, fundraising platforms, marketing, etc.)
• Support data integrity, automation improvements, and ongoing system performance optimization
• Participate in code reviews, deployments, and best-practice governance

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Development experience
• Strong experience delivering multiple NPSP implementations or enhancement projects
• Deep understanding of NPSP data model (households, affiliations, donations, recurring gifts, campaigns, etc.)
• Expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flows, and Salesforce automation frameworks
• Experience with Salesforce integrations and API-based development
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices, security model, and data management
• Experience working with nonprofit, philanthropy, or fundraising organizations strongly preferred
• Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) certification required; PD2 or additional certs a plus
• Experience with nonprofit reporting and donor analytics
• Exposure to Experience Cloud or Marketing Cloud is a bonus
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving remote environment
