A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced HR Colleague Relations Analyst I to serve as the first point of contact for employees and leaders regarding workplace concerns and employee relations matters. This role operates in a high-volume inbound call center environment, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to resolve issues in real time.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for leaders and employees via a centralized phone system
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls throughout the shift
- Provide real-time issue resolution and guidance during the initial contact whenever possible
- Document all call details accurately, including case categorization and priority
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams for further investigation or resolution
- Assist with interpretation and application of company policies and Code of Conduct
- Consult with leaders on performance management, discipline, attendance, and related matters
- Respond to inquiries related to workforce reductions and other HR processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely and effective outcomes
- Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and strong judgment when handling sensitive matters
- Apply knowledge of current state and federal employment laws when advising on employee relations matters
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Employee Relations
- 2+ years of experience in Labor Relations
- 2+ years of experience in HR Generalist roles
- OR equivalent leadership experience (may substitute for practical HR experience)
- Strong real-time problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information professionally
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in a high-volume call center environment preferred
- Experience in mentoring, mediation, consulting, or leadership roles
- Knowledge of state and federal employment/labor laws
- HR certifications such as PHR / SPHR
- HR certifications such as SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP
- Bachelor's Degree preferred (or equivalent relevant work experience)
