Site Civil Engineer EIT

Woolpert is an award-winning, global leader in architecture, engineering, and geospatial services. They are seeking a Site Civil Engineer (EIT) to join their Land Development Engineering team, responsible for plan production, design calculations, and assisting with various site/civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs
• Provide technical support in site/civil design, hydrology/hydraulics, erosion and sedimentation control, and stormwater management
• Coordinate permitting with County and local municipalities. Experience with local municipalities is a plus
• Strong interest and working knowledge in hydrology and stormwater management
• Proven ability to multi-task, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks
• Work with project management team to identify impediments and develop / implement solutions to overcome obstacles
• Perform pavement assessments and compiling data and reports
• Occasional field work, frequent local travel, and overnight travel as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• BS in Civil Engineering
• 1+ years related experience
• An Engineer Intern (E.I.) or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
• Experience in Autodesk Civil 3d
• Experience in Hydraulics and Hydrology preferred
• Experience with local municipalities is a plus
