Gong is a company that harnesses the power of AI to transform how revenue teams win. They are seeking a Systems Engineer, CX Automation to build customer-facing intelligent workflows and enhance the customer experience through automation and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Act as technical expert for building and maintaining automation projects serving our customers
- Design and implement agentic workflows: You'll use tools like Workato, Retool, LLMs, and Gong as well as other technical resources to create, test, and deploy scalable, repeatable, and actionable automations. These aren't just about reducing busy work; they're about doing things we couldn’t do before to have a bigger impact on our customers’ success
- Build & fine-tune AI infrastructure: You'll focus on the technical build of AI-driven tools, including defining, iterating, and optimizing integrations with GTM systems, managing data retrieval, and ensuring solutions can handle rapid scaling across internal and external users
- New feature integration: You will serve as the technical expert for integrating and testing pre-release and new product functionality. Your successful technical builds may become prototypes for future core product features
- Cross-functional collaboration: You'll partner with stakeholders across the organization to validate technical requirements, test prototypes and integrations, and ensure seamless, high-quality deployment of automations within the broader Gong ecosystem
Requirements:
- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in a relevant field such as Business Systems Integration, Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a similar technical role within a GTM organization
- Automation Expertise: You have a proven track record of building and deploying automations, with significant experience using platforms like Workato, n8n, or Retool
- Passion for Technology: You are curious about new technologies and always eager to test things and learn through experimentation
- Systems Architecture: You understand how data moves across complex systems and can design solutions that maintain data integrity and system performance
