The role of Project Engineer involves collaborating with Project Managers on water and wastewater infrastructure, land development, and environmental systems, while contributing to project planning, design, and construction oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Project Managers to define project objectives, scope, and timelines
- Design and oversee the construction of utility water and wastewater projects for municipal, industrial, and private clients
- Create detailed site layouts, grading plans, erosion control measures, and stormwater management systems
- Develop construction exhibits, detailed drawings, and technical specifications for various projects
- Perform basic engineering calculations to support design decisions and project feasibility assessments
- Engage directly with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist in project documentation, reporting, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field
- Entry-level candidates or those with a minimum of 1 year of engineering-related experience are encouraged to apply
- A demonstrated interest in land development, water resources, or environmental engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members
