Field Service Engineer - Automation, Food Processing, Machinery

RemX is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service food processing machinery. The ideal candidate will perform installation, preventive maintenance, and repairs, while providing technical support and customer training on equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, and repairs on food processing machinery
• Offer on-site troubleshooting, technical support, and customer training on equipment
• Support aftermarket sales by identifying worn or failing parts and recommending replacements when appropriate (incentive eligible)
• Strong ability to interact and communicate effectively with diverse customers and colleagues

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience as a Field Service Engineer
• Work with food processing machinery used in industrial manufacturing facilities
• A background with electrical, mechanical, schematics, and PLC troubleshooting experience
• Strong mechanical and technical background with ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical issues, including PLC-based systems
• Travel 70% - 80% nationally (primarily US; Canada and possible international travel down the line)
• Strong ability to interact and communicate effectively with diverse customers and colleagues
• Field service experience with industrial machinery and PLC troubleshooting is needed; food processing experience is a plus
