Responsibilities:
- Design, analyze, and develop aerospace systems, including aerodynamics, aircraft performance, structural dynamics, and mass properties
- Develop and validate electrical and electronic systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols
- Implement and oversee system integration and testing procedures to ensure functionality and reliability of complex systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet project requirements and customer specifications
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate project progress and findings effectively
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and troubleshooting activities to identify and resolve technical issues
- Support project management activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality assurance
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate best practices into project work
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of relevant engineering experience in aerospace, electrical, mechanical, systems, or related fields
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline; advanced degrees are a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in relevant engineering tools, software, and methodologies
- Experience with defense systems, aerospace components, or related sectors is highly desirable
