Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Project Managers to establish project goals, timelines, and deliverables
- Design and oversee the construction of utility water and wastewater projects for various clients
- Create detailed site layouts, roadways, grading plans, erosion control measures, and stormwater management systems
- Develop construction exhibits, drawings, and specifications to ensure project accuracy and compliance
- Perform fundamental engineering calculations to support design processes
- Engage directly with both public and private clients to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance
- Assist in project documentation, reporting, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure all designs adhere to relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software
- Ability to meet project deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor when interacting with clients
- Entry-level candidates with a strong interest in land development, water resources, or environmental engineering
- Minimum of one year of engineering-related experience is desirable
