About this role
Alleima USA LLC is looking for a Business Development Engineer - High Temperature. The role is responsible for growing market share in the U.S. and Canada through application-driven business development and technical engagement with customers, translating expertise into solutions that drive growth in high-temperature applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account and segment plans based on application mapping, installed base knowledge, and customer process understanding
- Identify, quantify, and prioritize volume, revenue, margin, and lifecycle value opportunities across existing and new customers
- Lead opportunity development from early technical engagement through commercial execution, including specification positioning and value justification
- Convert new prospects and applications into long-term customers through technical credibility and consultative selling
- Creating the sales regions business plan and execution of activities to reach targets
- Accountable for reaching the sales region’s short term (18 month rolling) sales and business development targets including price management
- Responsible to manage & develop the territory, including targeting companies and engaging technical decision makers for sales and opportunity development
- Drive business intelligence activities including, but not limited to, competitor activities, pricing, market trends, and industry segment behavior
- Manage and develop independent sales reps within the sales territory to optimize sales
- Effectively follow up on leads and turn them into buying customers
Requirements:
- More than 6 years of successful history in a high value sales management environment, preferably in the US market
- Strong decision-making skills, sometimes even in the face of uncertainty while keeping customer focus at the center
- True willingness to collaborate and solid leadership skills
- Creative, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated personality
- Professional style based on creating trust through communication
- Well-developed communication skills in business English
- Strong technical aptitude
- A driver's license
- Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering background and/or experience with industrial heating, electrification, or the semiconductor industries
