R1 RCM is building healthcare’s first Revenue Operating System, utilizing AI to enhance hospital billing and reimbursement processes. The role involves developing and managing data services and pipelines, ensuring high performance and compliance in handling large-scale healthcare data.
Responsibilities:
- You’ll build and operate the services and pipelines that move data through Phare’s AI and product stack
- You’ll develop reliable systems for ingesting, transforming, and serving large-scale healthcare data, ensuring high performance, observability, and compliance
- You’ll own the backend interfaces that power analytics and model workloads, working across streaming, storage, and application layers to keep data flowing safely and efficiently
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of engineering experience
- At least 2 years directly working on production data pipelines/platforms
- Experienced in architecting and building microservices and ETL pipelines in Python, Go, or Java
- Experienced building and managing infrastructure with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Strong with Spark, Airflow, or Kafka for orchestrating and streaming data flows
- Adept at implementing observability and reliability practices, instrumenting pipelines with logs and metrics to detect drift, latency, and data quality issues before they impact users
- Experience with healthcare data (FHIR, HL7)
