Empower Pharmacy is dedicated to producing innovative medications that enhance people's health and happiness. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the company's cloud-based systems, focusing on Microsoft environments such as Azure and Office 365, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, manages and improves cloud infrastructure across platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, ensuring high availability, security, and performance
- Manages Active Directory, Azure AD (Entra ID), and associated identity and access management policies, including single sign-on (SSO), MFA, conditional access, and role-based access controls (RBAC)
- Develops and automates operational tasks through Powershell scripting, Azure CLI and infrastructure-as-code practices to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Implements and monitors networking, virtualization, and containerization solutions including VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes to support enterprise-scale applications
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams in alignment with agile and DevOps practices to deploy, maintain, and optimize cloud-based solutions
- Monitors system health, logs, and alerts, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with security and quality standards
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or a related role with demonstrated ability to support enterprise-level solutions
- Requires a high school diploma; an associate degree in computer science or information technology is preferred
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively across teams and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in cloud platforms, networking concepts, and automation tools, with hands-on experience in virtualization, containerization, and monitoring technologies
- An associate degree in computer science or information technology
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect
