Payabli is a next-generation Payments Infrastructure and Monetization Platform designed for vertical software companies. They are seeking a Sr. Product Manager to lead the development of their payout infrastructure, which includes virtual card issuance, ACH, wire transfers, and checks, while leveraging AI to enhance vendor data and build a robust vendor network.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategy and execution of our virtual card program, including single-use and multi-use card issuance, spend controls, and program compliance
- Own the full lifecycle of traditional payout methods
- Drive improvements in speed, reliability, and cost efficiency across ACH (same-day and standard), domestic and international wire transfers, and check disbursement
- Build the tools and workflows that transform our platform partners into payables powerhouses
- Pioneer the use of AI to automatically enrich vendor data—validating payment credentials, categorizing vendors, detecting anomalies, and reducing the manual overhead that slows down B2B payments
- Architect and scale a vendor network that creates network effects across our platform
Requirements:
- 5+ years in product management with deep experience in payments, fintech, or financial services
- Hands-on experience with virtual card issuance programs and card network relationships (Visa, Mastercard)
- Expert-level understanding of ACH (NACHA rules, same-day ACH, returns/NOCs), wire transfers, and check processing
- Expert-level understanding of building vendor networks, enablement options (phone, email, portal); straight through processing familiarity is a plus
- Experience with BIN sponsorship, issuing processors, and program management compliance
- Track record of launching and scaling disbursement or payables products
- Familiarity with vendor management systems, AP automation, or B2B payment workflows
- Ability to partner deeply with engineering on API design, data models, and system architecture
- Understanding of fraud prevention, KYB/KYC requirements, and compliance in money movement
- Interest or experience in AI/ML applications for data enrichment and automation
