HG Insights delivers AI-powered Revenue Growth Intelligence solutions that modernize GTM strategy and activation for B2B companies. They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marketing Manager of SEO and GEO to lead their digital performance strategy and execution, focusing on driving performance and delivering high-impact content.
Responsibilities:
- Own and execute the digital performance strategy that drives discovery, engagement, and pipeline across organic search and AI platforms
- Execute hands-on SEO implementation including technical audits, schema markup, site architecture optimization, and deploy on-page and technical optimizations
- Drive GEO by structuring content for AI citation across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Claude while building measurement frameworks to track citation frequency and competitive positioning
- Work and collaborate with the marketing communications team to support optimizing seo/geo agency efforts to fortify outcomes
- Identify content opportunities to create and transform HG's proprietary data assets into high-authority content using AI workflows, then optimize the technical foundation for SEO, GEO and PPC
- Develop and continuously refine keyword strategy, prioritization, topic grouping, and semantic clustering
- Help build and iterate prompt workflows that generate citation-ready content: structured formatting, clear sourcing, author credentials, schema markup
- Map, optimize and help implement existing optimization for pages and content (web pages, landing pages, blogs, assets, schema, metadata) for rankings, readability, experience, GEO citation, and conversion
- Use AI to monitor competitive positioning, run content audits, identify underperforming assets, and prioritize refresh opportunities
- Create and manage a system to identify what's working, what’s not and why
- Define success criteria, KPIs, dashboards, and reports to evaluate digital performance and content/page delivery
- Build and manage an editorial calendar aligned with marketing and GTM priorities
- Establish systematic post-mortems: what content gets cited and why? What changes or optimizations moved the needle? What should be stopped?
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to use AI systems for research, content creation, competitive analysis, or workflow automation (professional or personal experience)
- Comfort designing AI-powered workflows for repeatable execution: prompt engineering, output refinement and quality control
- Mindset that defaults to: automate first, measure everything, iterate fast
- SEO: 3-5 years hands-on experience executing SEO strategy in B2B SaaS or enterprise software including technical audits, schema implementation, site architecture, and analytics platforms (GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush); recent agency experience preferred
- GEO: Understanding of how AI retrieval systems work including entity recognition, semantic search, and citation weighting with ability to distinguish between activity metrics and authority metrics
- Ability to design differentiated content programs using proprietary HG data and original research, not just generic strategies and execute content calendars
- Data-driven decision-making based on evidence (competitor analysis, market trends, citation patterns, conversion data) rather than best practices
- Strong ownership mindset: you design the system, build the workflows, execute the work, measure the results, and iterate
