TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, and they are seeking an experienced Security Engineer II to support and mature their cloud security environment. This role focuses on optimizing Palo Alto Prisma Cloud and enhancing security across the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering, administration, and optimization of Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, including:
- GlobalProtect
- SaaS security modules
- DLP and policy management
- Evaluate and implement best practices for cloud and endpoint security tools
- Partner with cross-functional teams (security architecture, SOC, offshore/onshore engineers) to improve detection, performance, and overall security posture
- Support and enhance additional security technologies such as CrowdStrike, Swivel, and other enterprise security platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated security engineering issues
- Participate in maturing security controls, documentation, and operational processes
- Collaborate closely with technical leaders, including the Principal Architect, on architectural decisions and long-term strategy

- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams (security architecture, SOC, offshore/onshore engineers)
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve escalated security engineering issues
- Experience participating in maturing security controls, documentation, and operational processes
- Ability to collaborate closely with technical leaders on architectural decisions and long-term strategy
- Prior experience optimizing a newly stood-up cloud security tool or maturing an environment post-implementation
- Experience in healthcare, highly regulated environments, or enterprise cloud ecosystems
- Strong communication skills and ability to participate in both technical and non-technical discussions
