Senior Cloud Security Engineer

SPECTRAFOR is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant with expertise in Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes to support enterprise container security initiatives. The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Kubernetes security controls, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards, and collaborating with DevOps, platform, and security teams to strengthen the cloud-native security posture.

Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and manage Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes across enterprise environments
• Design and enforce container, image, and runtime security policies aligned with security best practices
• Integrate ACS with CI/CD pipelines, vulnerability management tools, and security monitoring platforms
• Perform security assessments, risk analysis, and compliance validation for Kubernetes clusters
• Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues in containerized and cloud-native workloads
• Collaborate with DevOps, platform engineering, and security teams to embed security into the development lifecycle
• Provide technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to internal teams
• Support adherence to federal, regulatory, and organizational security standards as required

Requirements:

• US Citizen required
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes security in enterprise or regulated environments
• Proven expertise in Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security (ACS) implementation and management
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker, OpenShift, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of cloud security principles across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with CI/CD security integration, vulnerability scanning, and policy enforcement
• Understanding of network security, identity management, and runtime protection in Kubernetes
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
