Engineer 2 – Plant Civil and Structural Eng

RISINGSUN TECHNOLOGIES is looking for a civil structural engineer responsible for performing structural analysis and design of various systems and components in Nuclear Power Plants. The role requires understanding interactions between structural, mechanical, electrical, and piping components while ensuring timely and quality delivery of engineering documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct system and plant operational functional requirements analysis
• Perform functional allocation to operators or plant control systems
• Perform structural analysis and design of different structural systems and components of a nuclear power plant
• Perform structural analysis using Finite Element Analysis tools to develop structural demands on different structural components
• Perform structural design of different structural components such as walls, slabs, foundations, etc
• Perform seismic analysis and evaluation of different structural systems and components in NPPs
• Support developing design and detailed drawings and specifications
• Incorporate design requirements into analyses and design documents
• Provide on-time, quality delivery of engineering documentation in accordance with contract requirements, business procedures, and regulatory agency guidelines
• Demonstrate ability to operate within an established technical framework, learn quickly, and sort through information and make timely and sound decisions
• Strong oral and written communication skills and solid technical writing skills with focus on detailed requirements, design, and description documents
• Demonstrated ability to document, plan, market, and execute projects and programs

Requirements:

• MUST be a US Citizen
• Must be willing to work on our W2
• Bachelor's or master's degree of Science in Civil Structural Engineering
• 1 or more years of civil engineering analysis and design experience
• PhD Degree in civil structural engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer in the United States (Multiple States)
