About this role
Technergetics is a US-based company dedicated to research and development in various technological fields, including AI and machine learning. They are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer II to support their software portfolios by developing modern UIs, building backend services, and contributing to infrastructure automation.
Responsibilities:
- Developing modern, responsive UIs using React and TypeScript
- Building scalable backend services (Go, Node, Python) realized with GraphQL
- Working with databases including PostgreSQL, Redis, and graph databases (e.g. Memgraph)
- Contributing to infrastructure automation using Docker and GitLab CI/CD
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in a computer science, computer engineering or closely related discipline
- Developing modern, responsive UIs using React and TypeScript
- Building scalable backend services (Go, Node, Python) realized with GraphQL
- Working with databases including PostgreSQL, Redis, and graph databases (e.g. Memgraph)
- Contributing to infrastructure automation using Docker and GitLab CI/CD
- Comfortable jumping between frontend, backend, and infrastructure tasks
- Take initiative, communicate clearly, and collaborate well in a distributed team
- Motivated to learn new efficiencies in the intersection of software, data, and AI
- Strong hands-on experience with React
- Solid knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript
- Familiarity with UI design systems, HTML, and CSS
- Proficiency with TypeScript and Go (Golang)
- Experience working with GraphQL APIs, ideally with Apollo Router
- Comfortable with relational and in-memory databases (PostgreSQL, Redis)
- Experience working with Docker
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of Python
- Familiarity with LangChain or LLM APIs (OpenAI, vLLM, Ollama)
- Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for, at minimum, SECRET access to classified information
- At least three years of full-stack development experience preferred
- Bonus: Exposure to Vitest and React Native
- Bonus: Experience writing SQL or Cypher queries
- Bonus: Exposure to Terraform or similar automation tools
