MKS Inc. is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer in the Austin Texas area to provide customer support through on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment and systems. The role involves managing installations and repairs for key accounts in the US, requiring travel about 40% of the time.
Responsibilities:
- Providing highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, servicing and repair of complex equipment and systems
- Checking out and approving operational quality of system equipment
- Serving as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects
- Responsible for operational quality of system equipment
Requirements:
- Associate's degree, or equivalent; with minimum of 5 years of related Semiconductor experience or similar; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experienced with standard Microsoft Office programs
- Work with integrity, is ethical and is able to inspire the trust of others
- Strong analytic, business and interpersonal skills
- Motivated, self-driven, positive approach to problem solving
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, high tech environment
- Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
