Product Data Manager

Prosum is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Product Engineer to lead the design, development, and evolution of their data products across a complex telecommunications ecosystem. The role focuses on modernizing legacy data systems, migrating and modeling data in Snowflake, and enabling scalable, business-ready datasets that support analytics, operations, and customer insights.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and assess legacy data systems to define migration and separation strategies into Snowflake
• Develop scalable data architecture and modeling standards for telecommunications data
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into data product solutions
• Define best practices for data governance, quality, and performance optimization
• Design and build robust, scalable data models (fact/dimension, data vault, or hybrid approaches)
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and transformations within Snowflake
• Create curated, analytics-ready datasets for business intelligence and downstream applications
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines to ingest and transform data from multiple sources, including Salesforce
• Investigate, profile, and document legacy data structures and dependencies
• Lead efforts to decouple and migrate legacy datasets into modern Snowflake architecture
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness during migration processes
• Implement validation and reconciliation processes
• Integrate Salesforce data with telecom data platforms to create unified customer and operational views
• Design data flows and synchronization strategies between systems
• Support reporting and analytics use cases tied to CRM and customer lifecycle
• Build data products that are reusable, discoverable, and aligned with business domains
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact data solutions
• Document data models, pipelines, and product definitions for internal users

Requirements:

• 5–8+ years of experience in data engineering or data product development
• Strong expertise in Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, architecture)
• Experience working with Salesforce data models and integrations
• Proven experience working with legacy data systems and migrations
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks
• Experience designing data products rather than just pipelines
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with large-scale data processing
• Experience in telecommunications or similarly complex data environments
