Practice Better is a remote-first company that provides an all-in-one platform for health and wellness practitioners. They are seeking a Staff Product Manager to own the strategy and execution for onboarding and personalization, as well as AI-powered features, ultimately driving conversion and retention for their products.
Responsibilities:
- Own product strategy and roadmap for Onboarding & Personalization and AI — two critical domains for Practice Better's conversion, retention, and competitive differentiation
- Partner closely with our AI engineering team to define, prioritize, and ship AI-powered features that deliver real practitioner value — moving fast without losing rigor
- Lead AI product strategy, translating the rapidly evolving AI landscape into a clear, prioritized roadmap grounded in user needs and business outcomes
- Drive personalized onboarding experiences that accelerate time-to-value for new practitioners and meaningfully improve free trial to paid conversion
- Set the standard for data-driven product development — define success metrics, instrument features, analyze outcomes, and use quantitative and qualitative signals to guide decisions
- Lead discovery and validation efforts, synthesizing user research, behavioral data, and market insights to inform prioritization
- Serve as a force multiplier for the product team — mentor PMs, model best-in-class product practices, and elevate discovery, communication, and execution quality across the organization
- Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Design, Research, Marketing, and Customer Success on complex, multi-workstream initiatives
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for major launches, working closely with Marketing and Customer Success on positioning, communications, and rollout planning
- Contribute shared frameworks and best practices that improve how the product org discovers, builds, and ships at scale
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS environment, with a track record of leading large, complex initiatives
- Demonstrated expertise in AI product management — you understand how to identify high-value AI use cases, work effectively with ML/AI engineering teams, and ship AI features responsibly and iteratively
- Deeply data-driven — you set up instrumentation, define success metrics, track outcomes rigorously, and are comfortable working with data at every stage of the product lifecycle
- Experience owning onboarding, activation, or personalization product areas, with a strong understanding of how to drive time-to-value and conversion
- Proven ability to drive full product lifecycle ownership across multiple teams or workstreams simultaneously
- Deep expertise in product discovery and user research methods
- Strong cross-functional influencer — you align diverse stakeholders and drive momentum without relying on formal authority
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with a bias for clarity and action
- Naturally elevates the people around you — through mentorship, modeling excellent craft, and raising the standard for what 'good' looks like
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment — analytical, curious, and focused on outcomes over perfection
- Experience building or scaling AI-powered features in a SaaS product, particularly in vertical software
- Familiarity with LLMs, AI workflow automation, or AI-assisted tools for knowledge workers or professionals
- Experience in health, wellness, or healthcare industries, particularly with HIPAA-compliant systems
- Familiarity with integrative health, nutrition, or practice management domains
- Experience with product-led growth (PLG), activation optimization, or lifecycle marketing collaboration
- Experience leading product through a period of significant company growth or transformation
