The Senior Product Manager, New Markets is responsible for shaping the product portfolio by identifying and advancing new product and market opportunities, focusing on market understanding and strategic analysis to guide product direction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead ongoing market research and voice of customer (VoC) efforts to uncover emerging needs, trends, and opportunities across patient engagement and healthcare staff workflows
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights—including customer feedback, industry trends, and competitive analysis—into clear, actionable opportunity narratives
- Develop market segmentation models, use case frameworks, and problem statements to guide strategic exploration and prioritization
- Identify and shape new product concepts, innovation themes, and market adjacencies aligned with company strategy
- Evaluate opportunities based on customer value, market potential, feasibility, and strategic fit
- Partner with product and engineering leaders to refine opportunity hypotheses and support solution framing or validation activities when appropriate
- Develop and maintain business cases for new product and market opportunities, including market sizing, value propositions, risks, and expected impact
- Support leadership decision making through clear analyses, trade offs, and recommendations
- Contribute to prioritization discussions and investment planning across the product portfolio
- Inform product and portfolio roadmaps with market backed insight, strategic rationale, and context
- Collaborate with Product Management and engineering partners to ensure alignment between opportunity intent and execution plans alongside competing priorities
- Provide strategic guidance on business and stakeholder requirements during development, pilots, or incubation efforts to ensure solutions remain aligned with original market and customer intent
- Maintain a strong understanding of healthcare ecosystems, workflows, and regulatory considerations influencing product adoption and success
- Act as a strategic thought partner on innovation trends, elevating cross functional discussions with real world healthcare perspective
- Advocate for solutions that deliver meaningful outcomes for patients, clinicians, and healthcare organizations
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare product management, product strategy, consulting, or related disciplines
- Demonstrated ability to conduct market research, customer discovery, and competitive analysis and translate insights into strategic recommendations
- Experience developing business cases and supporting investment decisions for new product or new market entry initiatives
- Strong understanding of healthcare delivery models, clinical and operational workflows, and regulated environments
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to influence across functions
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, early stage exploration, and evolving scopes as opportunities mature
- Ability to lead and collaborate with software development teams to deliver solutions that satisfy business and stakeholder requirements efficiently, on time, and on budget
