The Strategy Principal, Healthcare Data Analytics & Value-Based Care (VBC) plays a dual leadership role in modernizing analytics strategies at health systems and enabling clients to achieve business transformation goals focused on value-based care.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with healthcare leaders (e.g., CFOs, CQOs, CIOs, Chief Population Health Officers) to develop and execute comprehensive strategies for integrating and optimizing analytics platforms across the enterprise, leveraging Oracle’s state-of-the-art analytics and data infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executives to translate analytics insights into actionable strategies for clinical, operational, and financial improvement, ensuring clients achieve measurable outcomes under value-based payment models
- Lead the deployment, adoption, and optimization of analytics solutions supporting value-based care initiatives, including risk stratification, cost and quality measurement, gap-in-care identification, population health management, and performance tracking for payer contracts
- Guide change management, user adoption, and best practices for leveraging Oracle’s advanced analytics platform—including embedded AI-enabled features—so organizations maximize business value, improve decision making, and sustain continuous improvement
- Systematically collect feedback from health system stakeholders and communicate insight and market requirements to Oracle Health product teams to shape the future of Oracle’s analytics solutions
- Facilitate workshops, executive briefings, and collaborative sessions to align analytics modernization initiatives with clients’ business objectives
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics, population health, or value-based care, working in or alongside health systems, payers, or leading consultancies
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise healthcare analytics or business intelligence platforms (such as Oracle Health's HealtheIntent, Millennium, or similar) and a strong understanding of U.S. healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7)
- Track record of leading or supporting enterprise analytics modernization projects, including solution implementation and client adoption
- Deep practical knowledge of value-based care models, payer contracts, population health management, and performance improvement in a U.S. healthcare setting
- Exceptional ability to partner across disciplines and communicate analytics concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Direct experience with other major analytics platforms such as Oracle Analytics Cloud and other major data/analytics platforms
- Advanced degree (Master's) in Data Science, Health Informatics, Health Economics, Public Health, or related discipline
- Background in payer-provider collaboration, accountable care arrangements (MSSP, ACOs, commercial risk), or large-scale population health initiatives
- Certification in value-based care, population health analytics, or relevant methodologies (e.g., HFMA, CPHQ, CPHDA)
- Familiarity with regulatory, interoperability, and data governance standards relevant to healthcare analytics in the U.S
