ePlus is a technology solutions company that values collaboration and innovation. They are seeking a Managed Services Center (MSC) Tier III Core Engineer to provide network, security, and systems support, ensuring stability and functionality within the production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform network/systems support in a Managed Services Center
- Troubleshoot, isolate and diagnose common problems
- Provide systems support functions for client, which includes design, development, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and problem resolution
- Follow- through until issues are resolved
- Maintain current, high-level technical skills in your field of expertise
- Effectively communicate with both customers and other internal staff
- Thoroughly document troubleshoot and resolve incidents within ticketing system
- Strong attention-to-detail
- Work in a team environment with the ability to function independently
- Participate in on-call
- Manage projects, as assigned
- Ability to multi-task
- Exceptional customer-focused and results-oriented attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Troubleshoot, isolate and diagnose complex network/systems problems, either alone or as part of a team
- Other tasks as necessary
Requirements:
- Active Cisco CCNP Service Provider certification required
- 5+ years of experience in service provider role with knowledge of optics
- Firm understanding of Juniper as it relates to the service provider field
- Adept at using NCS (Cisco, Juniper, and otherwise)
- Proven history of troubleshooting complex network issues
- Familiarity with VRF technology
- Versed in routing protocols such as IS-IS, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
- Knowledgeable with concepts such as SD-WAN, cloud networking, and network security
- Experience working with ASRs
- Background in current monitoring and management tools such as ServiceNOW
- Proficient in the use of Office 360 products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
