They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to coordinate maintenance activities, develop schedules, and collaborate across departments to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal operational downtime
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and other departments to understand their maintenance needs and schedule accordingly
- Ensure the timely availability of parts, tools, and supplies necessary for maintenance activities
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of maintenance parts and supplies, working closely with the procurement team
- Oversee the execution of maintenance tasks, adjusting schedules as needed based on equipment performance and operational demands
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, predict potential issues, and develop preventative maintenance strategies
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians to troubleshoot complex equipment problems and develop effective solutions
- Generate and present regular reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory status to management
- Ensure all maintenance operations comply with safety regulations, policies, and environmental standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within the manufacturing industry
- Proficient knowledge of parts and tool availability, procurement processes, and inventory management systems
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
