Jobot is a reputable and privately held construction firm specializing in delivering high-quality commercial and industrial projects. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects from contract award through to completion, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage construction projects from contract award through to completion, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate project progress and resolve issues proactively
- Develop, monitor, and update project budgets, schedules, buyout strategies, and cost forecasts to ensure financial targets are met
- Review and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation to maintain project integrity and compliance
- Lead project meetings, facilitate effective communication among internal teams and external partners, and document key decisions
- Oversee jobsite progress in collaboration with Superintendents, ensuring safety standards and quality controls are maintained
- Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a safe work environment
- Support project closeout activities, including punch list completion, turnover documentation, and final billing processes
- Demonstrate strong skills in scheduling, negotiation, contract management, decision-making, and problem-solving to address project challenges effectively
- Lead teams with professionalism, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure project milestones are achieved
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of experience managing construction projects
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget
- Extensive experience in coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Strong skills in budgeting, scheduling, buyouts, and cost forecasting
- Proficiency in reviewing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Excellent leadership abilities
