Responsibilities:
- Design and develop aerospace components, systems, and structures, including aerodynamics, aircraft performance, and structural integrity
- Conduct analysis and testing to validate system performance, safety, and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware, software, and systems to meet project requirements
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications to support development and compliance activities
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and troubleshooting to resolve technical challenges
- Support the integration, testing, and validation of complex defense systems in laboratory and field environments
- Maintain compliance with industry standards, government regulations, and security protocols
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and product quality
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience in defense, aerospace, or related fields
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance
- Strong technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas: aerospace, electrical, mechanical, systems, software, or structural engineering
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical information effectively
- Experience with design, analysis, testing, and integration of complex systems is preferred
- Relevant certifications or advanced degrees are a plus
