Sr Staff Engineer, Oral Solid Dose Pharmaceutical Equipment - Remote

Thermo Fisher Scientific is a leading company in the pharmaceutical industry, and they are seeking a Senior Staff Engineer specializing in equipment for oral solid formulations. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple facilities to provide recommendations on equipment requirements, troubleshoot machine issues, and support capital project execution.

• Equipment Lifecycle Planning
• Maintenance Excellence Program
• Data and information exchange
• Capital project governance
• New Asset Start up and Readiness

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
• 10+ years experience in Engineering with a consistent track record
• Specific knowledge and experience with Oral Solid Dose Pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment
• Knowledge of granulation, Compaction, Encapsulation, Coating equipment and Processes
• Knowledge of Pharmaceutical regulatory requirements
• Outstanding leadership and management skills
• Ability to implement global standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-directed with strong partner development skills
• Ability to lead and influence in a matrix and global environment
• Consistent in delivering results
• Masters Degree is desirable
• Experience in leading teams and/or initiatives is a plus
