AI Product Manager, Content Platform Operations & Publishing

Netflix is a leading entertainment company on a mission to entertain the world. They are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead strategic initiatives that integrate AI and machine learning into their content platform, enhancing the consumer experience and optimizing content operations.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the integration of state-of-the-art AI and machine learning models into our content platform and publishing tools enabling hyper-personalized and contextually relevant experiences for global audiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop intelligent systems that automate and optimize the creation of high-quality promotional assets, supporting our rapidly expanding content catalog
• Identify and implement novel AI-driven solutions to complex challenges in content distribution, asset management, and language experiences, ensuring our platform remains at the cutting edge of entertainment technology
• Partner with researchers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate the latest advancements in AI into scalable, user-centric products that empower both Netflix members and our creative partners
• Build strategic roadmaps, taking product concepts from idea through validation, shipping, measurement, and iteration. You will author strategy memos and presentations to represent your team's work to senior executives
• Lead the incubation and system design of new Machine Learning or AI capabilities, from idea to production in partnership with applied researchers, data scientists, and engineers, and integrating these capabilities into our suite of tools
• Discover new needs that artists, creators and content executives have, distilling their needs into product roadmaps and delivering solutions that drive real business impact
• Communicate your vision and strategy broadly throughout the organization, presenting technical and complex information to non-technical audiences
• Use exceptional analytical and ML/AI evaluation skills and a rigorous, hypothesis-driven approach to inform priorities, build business cases, and measure impact

Requirements:

• 6+ years of product management experience with a proven record of prioritizing and successfully launching impactful products or platforms
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Machine Learning techniques and evaluation best practices
• Ability to mobilize an entire organization toward a common goal and build strong relationships across functions and geographies
• Previous experience in leading end-to-end products that incorporate Machine Learning and AI focused solutions, including experience launching AI-enabled products and perfecting/customizing underlying models
• Previous experience with the ML lifecycle (data collection and labeling, model evaluation, etc.)
• Applied experience using data to inform priorities and evaluate impact
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience building products for creative teams, internal partners, or B2B enterprise clients
• Experience with media supply chains, localization, or translation is a plus
