About this role
Innovatech Staffing is seeking a Java Software Engineer to develop and maintain backend services. The role involves building front-end features, deploying applications on AWS, and collaborating within a Scrum team to deliver high-quality software.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot preferred)
- Build and enhance front-end features using React
- Deploy and support applications on AWS
- Work within a Scrum team, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and daily standups
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and basic DevOps processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Java development experience
- Experience with React and modern JavaScript
- Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, etc.)
- Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices
- Spring Boot preferred
