Product Designer (L3-L5)

North Star Staffing is building an AI-driven platform transforming how organizations identify and engage top talent. As a Product Designer, you will define and elevate the end-to-end user experience across the platform, shaping intuitive and scalable experiences used by both external users and internal operators.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design for core product flows and high-impact features
• Create high-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes
• Simplify complex workflows into intuitive, scalable experiences
• Partner closely with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation
• Contribute to and evolve a consistent visual language and design system
• Use user feedback, data, and product strategy to inform design decisions
• Improve onboarding and in-product guidance to enhance usability
• Participate in roadmap discussions and cross-functional planning

Requirements:

• 4–8+ years of experience in product design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX depth and visual execution
• Experience designing complex, multi-step workflows
• Proven collaboration with engineering teams
• Ability to operate independently in fast-paced environments
• Strong systems thinking and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience designing marketplaces, internal tools, or AI-powered products
• Familiarity with modern design systems and component libraries
• Experience working in high-growth or startup environments
• Understanding of front-end constraints and implementation considerations
