SiriusPoint is a global underwriter of insurance and reinsurance providing solutions to clients and brokers around the world. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain applications, ensuring performance and quality while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft .NET Framework and .NET Core
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation
- Develop and implement RESTful services and microservices architectures
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Stay updated with the latest industry technologies, frameworks, patterns and services
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in .NET development, specifically with .NET version 6 and above. Extensive experience with C# and ASP.NET Core
- Strong understanding of the Python programming language, including core concepts, data structures, and algorithms
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including but not limited to Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, S3, RDS, SQS
- Skilled in using Docker for containerization, Kubernetes for orchestration, and Helm for managing Kubernetes applications
- Database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Redshift, Aurora, DataBricks, SnowFlake, including experience with database design and optimization
- Strong understanding of and hands-on experience in designing and implementing MicroService architectures
- Expertise in developing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Proficient in using Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience with version control systems, such as Git
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
