Network Security Engineer

Take2 Consulting, LLC is seeking a Network Security Engineer to manage and configure enterprise firewall policies. The role involves performing audits, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure security and compliance standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, configure, and migrate enterprise firewall policies using Palo Alto Firewalls and VMware NSX Distributed Firewalls (DFW)
• Perform firewall policy reviews, audits, compliance checks, and remediation, leveraging tools such as Tufin
• Configure and implement firewall rules based on access requests, ensuring security and compliance standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve firewall policy issues and connectivity problems in a large enterprise environment
• Support automation of firewall rule creation and reporting using Python and Terraform (preferred)
• Participate in night and weekend operational support on an as-needed basis (25–50%, no fixed schedule)
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong work ethic, teamwork, and enthusiasm

Requirements:

• Bring 5+ years of enterprise firewall experience
• Support automation of firewall rule creation and reporting using Python and Terraform
• Palo Alto certification
• Computer Science degree as strong plus
