The Sports Partnership Project Manager will support a client team in delivering high-impact deals for sports and entertainment properties, requiring expertise in brand marketing, content creation, and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the internal consultant for sports and entertainment property management, providing insights on brand marketing, fandom, media, talent, and strategic planning
- Support the day-to-day strategy and execution for international soccer, NBA/WNBA, and Olympic portfolios
- Manage the 'connective tissue' between global product teams, regional marketing leads, and external agency partners
- Oversee the development of branded content and on-site/digital/social activations that drive product awareness and user engagement
- Identify opportunities within existing partnerships to further our client’s business objectives and technological integration
- Collaborate with Measurement leads to analyze and optimize performance of partnerships, uncovering actionable insights for marketers
Requirements:
- 6–10 years of experience in sports/entertainment marketing, partnership management, or a related agency role
- Deep knowledge of the global sports and media landscape, product and technology experience preferred
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with high attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and maintain professionalism with high-level executives and external partners
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced, global environment
- Deep Curiosity for AI and Technology required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and align diverse cross-functional teams (Product, Legal, Finance, Marketing, PR) at all levels
- Proven ability to thrive in ambiguity, independently prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment, and communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to executive leadership
