Crescit Executive Search is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer responsible for performing a wide array of tasks related to water and wastewater facilities. The role involves developing conceptual and detailed designs, coordinating with various teams, and overseeing the development of construction drawings and models.
Responsibilities:
- Developing conceptual level designs for water and wastewater treatment systems
- Developing detailed designs, including contract documents (plans and specifications)
- Coordinating with process mechanical team for detailed design services for treatment facilities
- Preparing design calculations, coordinating with other support discipline activities on projects, coordinating with regional offices, and construction cost estimating
- Be included in client meetings and industry conferences
- Support of water and wastewater process evaluation, selection, and implementation
- Oversee the development of construction drawings and 3D models pertaining to hydraulic structures
Requirements:
- Master's degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or biosystems/biological engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- 6+ years of direct process experience with water/wastewater treatment plant
- Solid understanding of drinking water treatment processes or wastewater treatment processes (biological, chemical, and physical)
- 10+ years of direct experience with water and wastewater treatment processes
- PhD degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or biosystems/biological or related engineering discipline
- 2+ years of experience with open-channel flow hydraulic modeling
- 2+ years of experience with biological modeling software (GPS-X, SUMO, BioWin, etc.)
- Strong communication skills as required to collaborate project designs with multi-discipline project teams
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
- Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team comprised of civil, structural, building mechanical, electrical, and Instrumentation and control disciplines
- Active participation in local professional organizations
