Electrical Engineer 4 (Remote- U.S. Based)

Amentum is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer 4 to support our Nuclear Projects team. This role is responsible for a variety of engineering tasks in the initial planning through final design for projects of advanced complexity under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for initiating and developing engineering calculations, studies and drawings through completion in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the project

Requirements:

• Must have obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from a 4 year ABET accredited college or university
• A minimum of 7 years of post-graduation professional electrical engineering experience
• Experience in power system analysis, including load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, harmonic, arc flash and relay coordination studies
• Experience in SKM, ETAP or other Power System Analysis software
• Experience with electrical one-line diagrams, schematics and wiring diagrams
• Experience in sizing and specifying electrical equipment
• Advanced level of understanding of power system analysis, lighting, power & control, grounding, lightning protection, communications and security systems
• Proficient in 2D and 3D AutoCAD, Revit and/or MicroStation
• Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills
• Due to the nature of work, candidates must be a US Citizen. US Dual Citizenship may be considered
• Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance
• Position may require travel
• EIT or PE (Professional Engineer License) in Electrical Engineering (Please indicate in profile)
• DOE/DOD/Army Corp of Engineer project experience
