Associate Software Engineer

Boeing is a leading aerospace company committed to innovation and collaboration. They are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to support mission planning software development and testing efforts critical to national defense. The role involves contributing to the software lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of reliable solutions that meet industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software throughout its entire lifecycle
• Assist in the development, maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of software products and functionalities, ensuring seamless system integrations
• Contribute to the development, documentation, and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and design documents for software products
• Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure the reliability, performance, and efficiency of software solutions
• Troubleshoot technical problems, providing timely and effective solutions
• Help establish, monitor, and improve software development processes to enhance productivity and quality

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Current active U.S. Secret Clearance
• At least 2 years of experience in software development
• Experience working within an Agile environment
• Proficiency in coding with languages such as C# and .NET
• Experience with version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket
• Experience with software development patterns including microservices, REST APIs, Mono Repos, and Single Page Applications (SPAs)
• Experience in designing and implementing system architectures, requirements, and software testing
• Knowledge of Typescript, ReactJS, and Redux
• Experience with mission planning systems and related technologies
