Fanatics Betting & Gaming is building a customer-focused sportsbook, aiming to deliver high-performance betting experiences. The Senior Principal Product Leader will shape product strategy, influence the customer experience, and ensure operational excellence across multiple teams.
Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Principal Product Leader, you will operate at both domain and enterprise altitude — defining strategy while elevating standards across the organization
- You will shape and influence the multi-year vision for a core sportsbook experience, aligning it to 1-, 3-, and 5-year business objectives and ensuring clear investment rationale across short- and long-term horizons
- You will act as the senior product authority for your domain, setting quality bars for customer experience, reliability, scalability, and commercial impact
- You will influence portfolio-level prioritization decisions, ensuring alignment between domain investments and enterprise strategy
- You will prepare and lead executive-level forums that define direction, risk posture, innovation strategy, and measurable performance outcomes — acting as a trusted advisor in high-stakes decision-making
- You will oversee multiple senior product leaders and teams, ensuring strong delegation, clarity of accountability, and consistent execution discipline across complex, interdependent systems
- You will elevate product craft standards across teams, embedding best practices in discovery, experimentation, analytics, and outcome measurement
- You will proactively identify structural, capability, or organizational gaps and recommend improvements that increase overall product effectiveness
- You will partner deeply with Engineering leadership to ensure architectural decisions support long-term scalability, extensibility, and performance at enterprise scale
- You will anticipate market shifts, competitive dynamics, and industry trends, translating them into forward-looking product opportunities
- This role requires enterprise-level thinking, exceptional product judgment, and the ability to operate credibly at the executive, strategic, and technical levels simultaneously
Requirements:
- 12–15 years of product management experience, including ownership of large-scale, high-impact digital platforms
- Demonstrated experience shaping multi-year product strategy with measurable commercial impact
- Proven ability to lead senior product leaders and influence across multiple domains or verticals
- Strong enterprise thinking — capable of balancing innovation, risk management, scalability, and operational performance
- Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills, with experience influencing C-level stakeholders
- Deep experience in high-frequency, high-scale transactional environments
- Track record of elevating product standards, mentoring senior leaders, and strengthening organizational capability
- Experience in sports betting, gaming, fintech, ecommerce, or similarly complex digital ecosystems strongly preferred
