Senior Business Intelligence Engineer

Humana Inc. is committed to putting health first, and they are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to enhance their data-driven decision-making processes. The role involves utilizing various tools to analyze and present data, create operational dashboards, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts detailed trend analysis using data from multiple sources and builds operational dashboards in Tableau and other BI tools. Provides critical insights and visualizations to senior leaders, helping inform decisions around business processes and practices
• Executes ad hoc data queries to address immediate business needs, delivering clear, actionable insights to support business operations
• Develops and maintains reporting for contact center operations, including the creation and submission of government-required reports, ensuring compliance and accuracy

Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship for this position
• Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS - National Background Investigation Service)
• HGB is not authorized to do work in Puerto Rico per our government contract. We are not able to hire candidates that are currently living in Puerto Rico
• Bachelor's degree
• 3 years experience with SQL including ability to build queries from scratch, join disparate data sets together, and how to optimize code
• 3 years of experience building and publishing end user facing dashboards with data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI
• 3 years of data analysis experience to solve business problems
• 3 years of experience working with large complex data sets within large organizations
• Proficiency in understanding Healthcare related data
