Dice is the leading career destination for tech experts at every stage of their careers, and they are seeking a Senior Project Manager specializing in Organizational Change Management (OCM) to support the Firearms Information Technology Systems Modernization (FITSM) project. The role involves providing OCM support to facilitate the transition from legacy systems to new integrated solutions, developing strategies to manage organizational impacts, and ensuring successful implementation of OCM practices.
Responsibilities:
- Provide OCM support to enable leadership, staff, and stakeholders to effectively transition from current legacy systems and processes to the new integrated solution
- Assist with developing and implementing strategies to manage organizational impacts, increase user adoption, minimize resistance, and ensure sustained business process change
- Continue to refine and expand OCM activities and deliverables to ensure continuity of approach, alignment with project goals, and successful implementation of OCM practices across all affected business areas
Requirements:
- Bachelor s-level degree from a recognized college or university. Alternatively, qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). The PMP certification is required and may not be substituted with additional experience
- An active OCM certification from a recognized, industry-standard OCM professional organization whose core mission includes OCM such as Prosci or Association of Change Management Professionals. This certification must be based on a formally documented OCM framework owned and maintained by the certifying organization, that includes structured training resulting in a required assessment. This certification is required and may not be substituted with additional experience
- Seven (7) years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible experience applying OCM principles, methods, techniques, and tools. At least four (4) years of that experience must have been as a senior PM of one or more large or complex IT projects
- Three (3) years of experience providing OCM services to government agencies
- Three (3) years of experience training large organizations
- Four (4) years of experience leading and facilitating team meetings
- Master s degree from a recognized college or university. Alternatively, additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis
- Eight (8) or more years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible experience applying OCM principles, methods, techniques, and tools. Five (5) or more years of that experience must have been as a senior PM of one or more large or complex IT projects
- Four (4) or more years of experience providing OCM services to government agencies
- Four (4) or more years of experience training large organizations
- Five (5) or more years of experience leading and facilitating team meetings
