Manager, Data Engineering

Franciscan Health is seeking a Manager, Data Engineering for a full-time remote role. The Data Engineering Manager will oversee the design, development, and management of data architecture and pipelines, leading a team to ensure best practices in data integration and quality while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, development, and management of data architecture, data pipelines, and large-scale data processing systems
• Lead a team of data engineers
• Ensure best practices in data integration, data quality, and data warehousing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data analytics initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives

Requirements:

• Experience in data architecture and data pipeline development, data integration, data quality, and data governance
• Strong understanding of Cloud platforms, DevOps, and CI/CD processes
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems, along with programming languages like Python
• Leadership experience in managing data engineering teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience in the healthcare sector is a plus
